CHALLENGE

In the summer of 1967, two Swedes and an American living in Stockholm decided to start a fashion label. Rolf Lind, Göte Huss and Jerry O. Sheets united by their love for the natural materials they had brought back from their travels to the Far East. All that they needed now was a good name. The explorer Marco Polo was the inspiration for this. From the outset, this O’ was a sign of individuality, originality, authenticity and the freedom to go one’s own way – truer than ever today, half a century later. And we had the challenge to conceive and implement a holistic jubilee festival that reflects this company history and future.

IDEA

Thousand and one ideas would not fit better for any other project than this. From a press conference in the Munich Flashipstore including the presentation of the Marc O’Polo anniversary collection, through renowned and international talks and speakers on the theme of design, a unique fashion-show with floor projection and even a large staff party with VIPs and all the trimmings. We wanted out to be BOLD.

OUTCOME

The brand Marc O’Polo has painted the town! Many national and international journalists, bloggers and influencers reported on the most diverse online and offline channels over this particular day. And by the way, enthusiastic employees, satisfied customers, VIPS and brand ambassador could experience Robbie Williams first hand, very close and live on stage. Pure goose bumps and a success all along the storyline!
